Slam

A trip to the optometrist this afternoon for my eyes' annual road test. He's a big basketball fan! So I had a very pleasant hour or so doing all the usual tests and getting the OK. He has a nifty new machine that scans the eyeball and produces 3D images of the eye surface and MRI type images of the retina. Fascinating stuff, seeing the detail of deterioration, be it ever so slow.

As well as being the last day in January, it's the last day of the football transfer window and so far the Jambos have signed 9 players. Brings back memories of Vlad and when he signed an entire team on the last transfer day! I wonder if he's following today's events from his luxury Russian hideaway?
