Waiting heron

Thank you for the hearts, stars and views from yesterday - one of my most popular pictures for quite a while.

With the forecast of a wet day, we decided to walk to Scone, have lunch in the pub there, and walk back. It was a good choice, as the worst of the rain came through while were enjoying lunch and a pint.

The best shot of the morning was this heron standing quietly in Annaty Burn. Unfortunately, it was hard to get a clear view through the branches without disturbing it.
