Under construction in miniature

Previous blips of the model railway have shown scenes which are all but complete. But this is many years' work in progress. So I thought - as I had spent much of today working on it - that a picture of "under construction" would be OK.

This is the old town Square with a few buildings on one side beginning to take shape. You have to imagine what is to come ... a wide street with shops and cottages on both sides, a couple of market stalls, a bus or two at the bus stop , other traffic and quite a lot of people going about their affairs.

All of that is to come. For anyone interested this model is constructed to 7mm to the foot and the railway is narrow gauge: O-16.5.
