Last morning

We woke up this morning to get back on the train home. We had a coffee and last cuddle before saying goodbye.
Sophie had a mission to sort out when she got home. The house next door had a lot of condensation on its windows and Sophie's wall seemed damp. When she peered into the empty kitchen she saw that the ceiling was down and there was a pool of water on the floor. No wonder her walls are damp!
All the army properties are managed by a contractor and they seemed most unwilling to send anyone out as there was no one living in the property!
Sophie is not one to give up lightly and finally someone came out and assured her that her ceilings were not about to fall down too, but as we know in Kendal damp walls take some drying out. At least they have now stopped the overflow next door, I just hope they don't suggest that she and the baby and the Guinea pigs and the dog and the aquarium all have to move house!
