Ben Wyvis

We had an obscure top on Ben Wyvis from which we hadn’t seen the view, and as the weather was cold and frosty we decided to go up. There was hard frost from the glen up and my shoes ended up drier at the end of the day than at the start. There is a great track up An Cabar that has done away with the old boggy monstrosity. The blip shows the western aspect of Ben Wyvis in the good light. There was virtually no snow except in the eastern coire; depressing for winter. The extra shows the view south west from the summit ridge towards the Strathfarrar and Loch Mullardoch hills.
