Across Dartmoor via Mortonhampstead to Chagford

Lovely day for cycling.
4 of us set off from Cully to Exeter then off to Dartmoor !

Dunsford for coffee
Then up to Mortonhampstead and on to Chagford for lunch and beer.

Cycled past these old almshouses in Mortonhampstead, built in solid granite now owned by the National Trust. Originally a church house, built as a hospital in 1451. In the 18th century they were used as a work house. In the mid-19th century. Outside hasn't changed much since 1637 when they were refurbished!

Great day's ride - 80 miles, 6000 ft of climbing, av 14.7 mph :-)
