FLAT OUT

back blipping again!!!..it's a long one..sorry!!

Thought this represented how I'm feeling but really this was a "Daisy achievement ". We don't like our dogs bothering us at mealtimes and this was the first time madam actually stayed put in her bed for the whole mealtime. Usually we are up and down like yo-yos!!!!

Went into work for a few hours, then home to see Daisy then over to the hospital. J is doing ok...more dialysis and blood checks. He's looking a bit yell but we've been assured that it's normal but will settle down. His protein levels are very low so he has to have a cooked breakfast each day. He was delighted. He is so bored and fed up in a ward full of old men who constantly make "body noises" and take their clothes off!!!
Still hoping for a Friday homecoming.

I had decided to do a monthly "thankful for..." as I've done daily ones previous years...this time it has to be
JANUARY: THANKFUL FOR....the bravery of our amazing son J, for the strength of his fiancée K, for the patience and concern from O and M and the care of all our family and friends. For our amazing NHS and lastly for my husband who has fought to get J the best treatment and care and to be the link with J's job.
