...and surprisingly the Parrots and Silvereyes haven't discovered the little stash of tables grapes ripening quietly on an old vine creeping over an the water tank.

There is dust a plenty around here with morning easterlies swirling the earth but the bloom on these beauties is natural and protects the fruit's freshness.
So important is 'the bloom'  that table grape growing friends of neighbours B and H  insisted that the grape pickers use cotton gloves and pick withe extreme care to preserve the bloom.

Not sure I'll be donning the gloves but looking forward to beating the parrots to the some juicy table grapes.
