Menacing sky

I just managed to get a walk in before the rain came.  Otherwise the day was spent sorting a few things out before a trip to Wales.  I cleaned out the grate which seemed to have the remnants of a nest in it which had fallen down the chimney.  Given the sticks were large and there were pieces of shiny glass in the debris I wonder if it belonged to a crow or a jackdaw.  I rarely light a fire as the hearth is a pain to sweep out.  Consequently the room is not used much.  I am researching a woodburner thinking it would be less messy and give a nice focal point to the room and then I might sit in there more.
