A very important mission

As you all know Roo and the other chihuahuas are working dogs, ok they don't round up sheep, or help blind people get around or catch burglars, they are all therapy dogs, so they work in different ways, they assist where needed, whether it be with a dementia patient a stroke victim or a phobic child, anybody that needs some therapy.

Well we had a call from Nottingham Police to ask if we could provide some much needed therapy for their officers who deal with some very disturbing cases.

I was told that the ladyofficer had not smiled in weeks as she had been dealing with a child abuse case, this was the first time she had laughed in ages, my job isn't easy because we deal with death, but it's usually expected very rarely is it not and it's never gruesome, but I was told tales of car accidents and suicides and domestic violence, my hat goes off to these guys.

The dogs had their therapy uniforms on but made a quick change into their police tops, just in case they were needed.

Mainly a group of ladies but we did get three guys come in who all seemed very impressed when they found out Roo had been in the sky fall Land Rover.
