Computer disaster

I am offline for a bit due to an act of confusion on my part that resulted in a complete scouring of my laptop. More when some part of what was on there is recovered, or when I come to terms with letting it all go. The photographs are OK, but all documents are gone. For now. Perhaps forever. Thank you, Dropbox, for this miserable set of circumstances. I have been told not to use the laptop till The Mac people can see it, to find out if they can recover the documents. That won't be till Sunday afternoon. Currently posting from iPad.
