Eton College NHM: Tail End of the First Week

More diagonal drama in large.

This tail definitely wins the prize... The remiges and rectrices look even more impressive in this closer alternative.

I know that I'm biased, but this is also definitely my favourite cabinet, housing some impressive native and naturalised birds (inc. a red kite looking out and the similarly exotic handsome mandarin); I liked the way that the parakeet's plumage was catching the light.
