Jacksons Bridge

Left to rot by the Beeching Axe, these bridges on the Fallowfield Loop Cycle Root are a testament to a bygone era and a perfect graffiti canvas. The bridge in the background carries part of Manchester's water supply from the Gorton Reservoirs.

Interestingly, Nelstrop Road above the bridge was originally part of the Pink Bank way; the main route between Manchester and Stockport in the 18th century.
