purple and yellow

A lovely bunch of beautiful spring flowers - irises and mini daffodils. They're in a tall glass vase in the lounge looking really lovely. I chose this arty effect for them and I really like it.

Had to do a food shop this afternoon - some in Aldi, the rest in Morrisons. Found a lovely hat for Sid in Aldi - it was only £1.99.

Bought a litre bottle of gin - we're going to make sloe gin with the sloes we collected a couple of months ago. Putting them in the freezer softens them up.
