If you ever see the above acronym used, it will probably be a West Ham fan and it will mean 'Come On You Irons'.
West Ham have 2 'nicknames'. The Hammers and the Irons, both having their origins in the late 19th century when West Ham was formed.
West Hams original name was "Thames Ironworks FC" and they were a team of dockers working on shipbuilding.
The 'Hammers' nickname comes from the tools of their trade, which forms the club crest (many people think it is because of the 'Ham' in 'West Ham' but thats coincidental) and the 'Irons' from their original name.

The asian guys in the corner have been going for years.
The guy with the claret turban and the one who dresses like a skinhead in a trilby hat and claret harrington particularly stand out.
