Jim Davidson

Travelled down to Dartford today to see Jim Davidson to a stand up show to celebrate his 40 years in showbusiness.
He basically went right through his career with a mixture of comedy, anecdotes and some great insights into his career.
He talked for a little while about his investigation for 'historical sex offences' which was dropped after 18 months with no evidence against him.
Eighteen months without being charged but with not a single venue willing to book him and at a cost of nearly half a million pounds in legal fees.
Astonishing.
I have read his book, which is great, and brought it along tonight for him to sign.
Not everyones cup of tea, granted, but tonight was good old fashioned laugh out loud comedy with nothing held back.
