there is something about a hyacinth

that fragrance - the delicate petals of the bloom - the way it rises in the air as it grows with each consecutive budding - it simply sings of springtime, don't you think?

then when those blossoms happen to be white - you place them upon a white background - ooh, then you fiddle & faddle with them to get them to appear even more glorious - well, it does bring a smile at least to my face - and i know it's going to be...
