Honorary member

My father in law was rewarded honoray member of the brass band Constantijn Huijgens in Appingedam, NL.

After being an active member for over 40 years he quit last year.
Tonight, during a concert, he was called on stage to receive this special award. He didn't know anything of it, so he was caught fully by surprise.

A great evening, with a great concept. While the brass band was playing, dinner was served to the audience in four courses. Brass à la Carte.

Constantijn Huijgens is a brassband from Appingedam, and has won several awards and championships. Currently they are champion in the 2nd division.
They also play in the UK every year at the whitmarches.
