lived by the clinic

I visited Julie yesterday. For the first time I didn't go by car as I still don't have one but by bus and suburb train. On my walk from the station to the clinic I spotted three marble plaques bearing well-known names (one widely, the other two a bit less): Jean Rostand (son of Edmond, author of Cyrano de Bergerac, and himself a famous scientist of the first half of the 20th century), Yehudi Menuhin and... Boris Vian.

Vian was an eclectic man: musician (he played the trumpet), author, singer, jazz critic... He did it all, and very well too!

Here he is, singing "Je bois" ("I drink").
