Terrible start to the day, better ending.

Yesterday I decided to get ready to make a BeanJar for the weekend. Peel carrots, check onions, defrost gammon, it was a bit more than we normally pay, but looked gorgeous. About 9pm last night I got it all ready, layered up onion, beans, carrots and again, then poured over the stock and a few extra secret ingredients. Then put it in the oven at gas two overnight. Might ask our son and family to come for lunch if they haven't sorted lunch yet or have ours then freeze the rest for another twice. When I came down this morning the house was really warm, not like our normal building site, I opened the oven oh oh something is wrong. Got the BeanJar out! NO!!!!! It was burnt to a crisp, all black and charred. I looked at the oven NO! It was on 9 instead of 2 somebody had leaned over the corner of the cooker and rubbed the oven and clicked it on to 9! Instead of the 2 that we'd set it at. So no BeanJar for lunch or to share with family or to store in the freezer.
Could the day get worse? Of course it could, but it didn't, we saw this pretty sky on our way home, Fish and oven chips for tea then, but grateful that it wasn't worse and that we had food in the freezer. I'll be back later to catch up on comments.
