Nothing held back

"Dark Head" 1960, gouache on paper, ca. 13x10 inches
from 'David Park, Painter: Nothing Held Back" by Helen Park Bigelow, 2009

This morning I didn't have time to read this wonderful monograph by the artist's daughter because I was making a card in my best faux calligraphy and writing a note to Judge James L. Robart, who stayed the Trump executive order to ban Muslim immigrants.

Robert Reich (the former Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton) suggests we write brief thank-you notes to the good judge. I ended mine with my favorite prayer:
May you be blessed to be a blessing.

I didn't hold anything back.
