Rosy's Frames

My cousin Rosy has lived in Paris for at least a decade-and-a-half by now; she's a wonderful artist,  as a painter and a sculptor and things in between. Here she is with her family (and links with more about her).  She had us for tea today, at her apartment, which is also her studio--always a fun place to visit.  She has done many creative frames, mainly in plaster; these have fallen by the studio-side (a radiator's verticals are behind), and there's a plaster  head on the exterior window-sill.

Rosy is currently embarked on an ambitious project with her long-time foundry, creating imaginative furniture--neither art nor utilitarian--but in a sense both, she says.  The foundry is in the Auvergne, ca. three hours to the south; I may pay a visit to take photos, which would be wonderful.  Stay tuned!
