Pitlochry Dam

The Cabinet was on tour today and our destination was Pitlochry.

We last met there in 2008 but today's venue was new - the SSE Visitor Centre at the Dam which welcomed its first visitors only last Monday.

The First Minister and the Deputy First Minister (it is in his constituency) formally opened it when they arrived and this is the view from the balcony - the famous dam itself and beyond it the even more famous fish ladder.

The well attended public meeting after the Cabinet was held across the river in the Festival Theatre which is always a joy to visit.
