An Unkindness of Ravens

Cheeky magpie

...was after my lunch (well I did give it a bit of bread to entice it come close to me and being very greedy, it happily obliged).

The magpies in my garden will do anything for food and they watch me closely when I'm gardening, as I throw them the (many) grubs I dig out of the veggie patch. Those grubs eat my vegetables, so I'm more than happy for the magpies to eat them. What I really need are chickens....

Bigger bird

And for any non-Aussies who want to know what a skink is, here are a couple relaxing in the sun - they are about 10cm long.
