Homeless in Puebla

I saw them huddled in a blanket as we walked back to the hotel around 10 pm last night; here they were again still huddled in the same blanket on the steps of the cathedral.  We chatted: Where are you from?  Why did you come here?  Where did you sleep last night?  Do you have other children?  How old is your daughter?  Can she read?  What's her name?  Alison, he said.  OMG.  My heart skipped a beat.  That's the name of my youngest daughter.  I finally got a smile out of her.  (Extra)
