Purple Sunbird

A gorgeous Purple Sunbird resplendent in his new coat of sparkling, metallic feathers.
Thank you to Jacqui and Connor who accompanied me to the Lagoons today, it was great to have company and luckily the Eagles and Harriers were out on the prowl for a magnificent display. I think this male Sunbird is rather proud of his breeding plumage!
