Wonder Wall

A wide angle wonder wall from old Captain* Carlsberg's garden. This wall has been assimilated (creatively integrated) into the new tower block that is now my neighbour. To give credit where it's due, the Captain left his house to academia in perpetuity. Chosen academics have been invited to live in the house ever since. Now, backing onto this garden, Carlsberg have built new block of 22 (very nice) apartments for even more academics. This apartment block is covered with this brick work.


*I.C. Jacobsen, the founder of Carlsberg liked to be called "Captain".
