Rishton on a blue skied day.

Today was beautiful, mild, and blue skied. Much to be thankful for, as is the case every day, whatever the weather.
I attended a parish church meeting where we tried to consider ways to save our church from closure.
It has brought out the strength of faith we hold normally more quietly.
As Christians, we are in the world but not really of the world.
The church is like an oasis of peace where we can find time to involve God in our lives.
It is a place for rejoicing in our faith, receiving forgiveness and understanding and finding lasting fellowship to sustain us.
