My Mini Adventure

Looking through the window

Through the train window on the way out of Victoria station I spotted this chimney. I took a photo (shame about the reflections) and looked it up when I got home. I must have passed it hundreds of times but never knew it was a Thames Water pumping station built in 1875 and is still in use.

I had been to the Royal Marsden Hospital for my cancer check up and am pleased to report that all is well and I have now been cancer-free (post treatment) for more than half my life! Quite some stat!
