Life is a Minestrone...

...according to 10CC.
The plan was that tomorrow we Wednesday Ladies would have a walk in Hardcastle Crags, returning to Masion Martin for a lunch of warming Minestrone and crusty bread etc.    Did all the work today.  It looked lovely and (I think) smelled delicious.  But I was so washed out after doing it, and still full of the dreaded lurgy, that I thought it foolhardy and unfair on the rest of the ladies to continue with the plan.   So, regretfully, the event is cancelled for now.   Mr MD and I will eat some of the Minestrone and the rest will go in the freezer until we re-arrange.
