Compliment of the Year!

Probably not the photo I would have chosen but..... The immigration desk at Bourg St Maurice was being manned by a young French woman. Who, looked impeccable, as French women invariably do. As I gave her my passport and ticket she asked me in French "Are you French?" No, I said, surprised, why do you ask? "Because your handbag is so stylish. It is beautiful" she replied. I was bowled over. I have never been mistaken for a French woman before and can only assume that she was looking at the bag and not at the middle age (very English) woman holding it!

Whatever - as I replied, I do like the bag very much too!
