River Isla, Perthshire

Heavy showers with just the odd bit of sunshine meant I didn't go too far today. This view is just a few minutes from my home and shows the River Isla, a tributary of the mighty River Tay and the Couttie Bridge, which was built in 1766 (although it's been knocked about a bit since then by heavy lorries etc!)

It's a hump-back bridge with a bend at either end and some drivers just never seem to slow down enough to cross it safely, leading to long delays for everyone while they get it fixed - again!

That's the Grampian Hills in the background - well the foothills really!
