A Meandering Life...

Wide-angle Wednesday 66 :: Leading Lines

When Mr Hobbs said 'winkles' I though about the leading lines on my face meeting at my eyes. Hopefully this alternative subject will be more acceptable to him.

I made this from a number of souvenirs collected over recent years and hangs in my office. The basic components are:

Wood: Huon Pine purchased at the Salamanca Market, Hobart, Tasmania.

Ceramic Poppy: From the art/remembrance installation at the Tower of London in 2014 called "Blood Sweep Lands and Seas of Red".

Barbed Wire: WW1 battlefield find purchased at the Lochnagar Crater, The Somme.

Day 8 of my Mono Month Challenge. (MMC17)
