15C. Morning heavy rain. Dry spell early afternoon, then showers. Almost still.

Not much walking today. Short walk up to the old church and back just after lunch. A little later it brightened for a while so I took advantage of the dry spell and took Maeve the Deerhound in the car to the car park at Westhaven. We had a short walk along to the Fishermen's huts, stopping to chat to one of the residents for a minute or two and for Maeve to have some attention. We had time for a look round and a short walk along the beach towards Easthaven, then back the way we came. Very dark shower clouds out over the sea looked ominous. No one at the huts. Tide in.

The blip is detail on a lifebelt sitting on top of one of the small boats near the huts. If this rain carries on like this we might need one :-)

Later the most exiting thing that happened was tea drinking but there were no comestibles.
