Troglodytes Troglodytes
After taking Fionne for her annual booster, we had a walk down to Chimney Meadow bird hides.
It was bitterly cold but we took a packed lunch and a flask, which helped.
I was beginning to think that we'd see nothing then a Kingfisher landed on a post not too far from the hide. We also Teal, Swans, a Red Kite, a Buzzard and the usual more common species.
In the second hide, the bird feeders had been filled and it was alive with all the tits and finches. I spent ages trying to get a decent shot of the Wren but it wasn't easy.
Strangely, to see it in focus, you have to view it large :)
Extra is another shot of the Wren.
