The Cabinet of Curiosities

We were in Haworth this afternoon and called into The Cabinet of Curiosities (which used to be Rose & Co, Apothecary).  It is a quite amazing shop - and well worth a browse.  We did in fact enter with a specific purpose - to buy some Stockleys 'Miner's Mates' - Bronchial Lozenges (see extra). With all the coughing and spluttering that has been going on the the MD household of late - these are a very effective 'reliever'.  They contain: Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Treacle, Aniseed Oil, Clove Extract, Eucalyptus Oil, Peppermint Oil and Citric Acid.  Made to the same recipe for over 50 years, they are an excellent day time compliment to the 'medicine cabinet' :-)
