I had a relatively quiet day today.   Long walk with Maisie this morning.  trip Over to fix mother in laws fire alarm after lunch and trip to the gym for a work out.   started work on my next OU assignment - options included creative writing (writing a poem or short story) or a more analytical piece.  I have grown to love poetry but realize that i don't have a talent for words - a more analytical piece on discourse communities will be the topic.

Also reading Dickens "Hard Times' for my course.  Terrific read - must confess my previous exposure to Dickens has been films and TV costume dramas - this book is very readable.
