Fun at the beach

Today we headed to Sumner to catch up with some friends. Their 2 boys are very similar to ours and after introductions were made, they all got on pretty well. There was plenty for them to do with a little pool to paddle in and a playground to play on.

After a picnic lunch we went for a walk down the esplanade, with the kids on their bikes. It was lovely. They were also luckily enough to explore cave rock and go for a climb to the top.

And then it was time for ice cream!

Unfortunately, the day was to much for LJ, and he crashed in a spectacular fashion right on home time.
