Seek and you shall find

A road trip today to RSPB Arne in Dorset with Dizzychick; home of a herd of Sika Deer...

...and we found the famed white sika stag known at Arne as 'Arnie' and the white sika hind, although not together in the same groups. The white deer are not albinos but instead suffer leucism, a rare genetic condition that causes an animals hair and skin to lose its natural colour.

Sadly no kingfisher or Dartford warblers but for our first visit was more than satisfied spotting the sika
