Was It Really So Long Ago

Mother's Day

We popped out today, for a little fresh air and a slurp to eat. Master H has been suffering with another streaming nose, so I judged a little bit of fresh air would do us all some good - and yes it was certainly fresh! Beloved drove us the short distance to Dedham, where H seemed somewhat non-plussed by the play area and in fairness to him it was damp. He did make good use of the swings at least. Across the road at the Essex Tea Rooms, the butternut squash soup was very good. Back at home after our light lunch, Master H delivered questions apace, mainly concerning the outcomes of mixing various colours and the dietary habits of a range of wildlife including badgers, foxes and others I can't recall.

I've been more or less confined to barracks this week, barring a couple of visits to the doctors (test results awaited). Look forward to seeing what they bring during the middle of next week. Everything does seem to be much more effort than it ought to be.

Have a great weekend all!
