The Saturday Market, Vernet

The Saturday market in Vernet is always buzzing and full of delicious produce. My favourite stall is the cheese stall, I love the Tomme de Brebis though it's very expensive.

Today I took images of the fishmongers' board of produce so that I could look up all the fish. Every year it's the same story: look up the meaning of fletan, eperlan, grenadier, limande, oblade, julienne, oblaste, sabre, pageot and more, and then forget what they are by the following year. Maybe this year I'll remember...
