Farewell Koh Ngai. Hello Koh Kradan.

Thailand 2017, Day 22
C went for an early snorkel to try to find his favourite moray eel for the last time, to say goodbye, but alas the eel was nowhere to be seen. I also had a swim, and then at 11 am, we boarded a speedboat that took us to our next island, Koh Kradan.
I had booked our bungalow accommodation via one of the booking sites (who shall remain nameless unless I don't get my money refunded) and to say that the bungalow was disappointing would be a vast understatement. We have travelled quite considerably throughout Asia, and this had to be the dirtiest, filthiest place ever, and the steps leading down to the bathroom were so long and steep that if we needed the loo in the night, we would have been safe only if we had donned a helmet and used ropes, shackles and crampons.
To cut a very long story short, we walked along the beach and booked in elsewhere, and one of the lads moved our bags for us. We are now happy bunnies once more. Fingers crossed for our refund. As our son said (quite sensibly) "It happens. It happened. Move on."
My main Blip is of a shoal of fish that were feeding on the surface at the pier in Koh Ngai - the boat lads were feeding bananas to them, and there was a real feeding frenzy.
My first extra is the view from where we are (Koh Kradan), which is once again, simply stunning. Sorry I keep using that word, but it is. The beach is almost white and the limestone karsts offshore just glisten in the sunlight. The other extra is taken from the speed boat on our crossing soon after we left Koh Ngai.
We hardly had any wifi connection on Koh Ngai, so I have several back blips to upload.
