Cleveleys Ogre

"Oh, too many cockles". That's what his face is saying to me. My dad used to collect them in the sands off the coast here, until they became too polluted and nowadays I think they've been over fished.

The Ogre is one of a number of sculptures along the new sea front at Cleveleys. Appearing at low tide he can be found in the boulders near Mary's Shell (see earlier photo).

I'm over this way looking after my mum this weekend who's recovering from Pneumonia.
