Sea to Sky Gondola

The sea to sky gondola has been on our to-do-list since we arrived but going was very much weather dependant. We got a perfect Saturday and decided to make the 60km journey north to the Squamish area... in a smart car! The drive took about 50min and was absolutely stunning.  We parked up and got the 10 min Gondola ride to the summit lodge, where the temperature was -16 Deg C! We took in the amazing views of the many surrounding mountains and the blue Howe Sound, walked around a few of the small trails and generally just enjoying the scenery. After a some exploring we had some food and warmed up around the campfire. We headed back down the mountain and cracked up the heating full blast on our way home. Amazing place and will be back in the summer for some longer hikes.
