African eagle owl

Not the greatest photograph, taken at dusk with my phone.  We each have our special places to unwind; and watching birds, especially owls, in their natural habitat is mine. There is something so magical about owls. Their camouflage is amazing, but I've learned to quickly recognise the shape of their form against the branches, and also as they sit on the ground. 
I'm able to walk the dogs again. Today I was so happy to see all four in their end-of-summer-home. This is the Dad, the Mom is bigger and they still have their two, most recent, almost grown chicks with them.  <3
