Dreary Day

A just past 4am call from Bailey this morning was a bit harsh on the first day of the holiday but he did settle once we were back upstairs. Not too much of a lie-in as he had an appointment at the groomers so we were up and walking in the sort-of-snow before 9 and Bailey was at the groomers by 10. I then went to Doddington Hall for a bit of a browse but didn't end up buying anything. I just took advantage of the view of the house for a blip. A supermarket shop and then back to pick up the very smart boy. 

Home for lunch and a few jobs done before a call to say that Mum and Dad were coming over a day early to avoid tomorrow morning's snow on the tops. A bit more shopping to be done to be able to make soup for them arriving. Bailey was very pleased to see them but, having had limited amounts of sleep today, he has slept the evening away. I'm hoping that might also mean that he won't waken the whole house far too early tomorrow morning.
