Boorna Waanginy

As part of Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF) Kings Park has been transformed into a huge light show. We popped up to take a look and it was stunning. The lights move on the trees (the lizard on the right actually crawls up the tree) and scenes change in front of your eyes. Music and narration added to the scene and the breeze made the trees dance around like they were acting as part of the show too. Really pleased we visited. Kings Park is a pretty spectacular place to visit at the best of times but this just added another element!

Glad to have my proper camera back in action. The phone camera didn't do so well in the dim light.

From their website... "Created in association with the Noongar community, scientists and botanists, Boorna Waanginy explores the inter-connectedness of all life, the fragile beauty of South West Australia’s landscape and the threats it now faces.
