Destruction

This is the sad remains of a beautiful house, Hormead Cottage, which was burnt to the the ground a few months ago. A young family had only just moved in when a chimney fire destroyed the building within a few hours. It featured in a Dulux advert a number of years ago, apparently, and was a perfect chocolate box home. It is even more poignant to us as we went to see it a couple of years ago when we were thinking of moving. So sad to see it now. See here if you want to know more
