Let me Tell you a Story!

Colder these past few days, starting dull and rainy today but brightening.

We set off in rain this morning for coffee and emerged to sunshine.   Our friends had their friends staying with them so it made a nice change of conversation.

On our return home for lunch Alan pointed out that our Roundabout centre piece had been changed.

Previously there had been a huge cactus in there which had become diseased and our President had asked the gardeners to take it out and re-plant something.   However, our cleaner, who is like a whirling dervish thought otherwise!

When she speaks to me, it is always in double time, lots of gesticulation and pointing, with me nodding and saying 'si, si' or 'no, no' not able to add a word in anywhere.   So today I saw her unloading large containers of soil out of the back seat of her car and putting it in the other planters on the terrace.   I asked if the gardeners had done the planting, but no she had, the gardeners were too slow - mañana, mañana!   The soil and stones have come from the Painters skip which is just down the road as he is doing some excavating!

She is absolutely priceless!   Thought it worth blipping today!
