28 doors - Buckley Old Library

This door belongs to Buckley old library and swimming baths (an interesting combination!) - the library was built through the generosity of the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1902 and the baths opened in 1928, the first of its kind in the county and paid for by the miners' welfare committee with funds generated through a one-penny-per-tonne levy from local mine owners. Both closed in 2005 and is now a museum.
